Dear gentlemen,

I was an English teacher in Ulsan for 5 years between 2012-2017. I encountered a bad situation when my former employer owed me outstanding salary and retirement pay before I left Korea.

Life was very stressful while the money was being retrieved but thankfully all of it was eventually paid.

I had a lot of help from a number of people. I feel especially grateful to Inspector Byeonghee Son 손병희 at Ulsan Labour Office for being so helpful and dedicated throughout the entire process from December 2017-August 2018. (Document number 2017-1563)

He had no problem meeting me at his office, late in the evening of a hoilday to solve the problem. He also arranged for my former employer to call in at the 
same time for arbitration. It was an unpleasant experience, seeing my former employer again but Inspector Son made the ordeal much easier to handle.

Inspector Son kindly explained the rest of the process and how organizations like Korea Workers Compensation &amp Welfare Service and 
Legal Aid Corporation could help my case.
