The 2025 Korea Job Fair was held at aT Center in Seoul from March 19 to 20, bringing together 121 companies and thousands of young job seekers.
Over 5,000 young participants pre-registered via the official website, with all one-on-one resume consultations and special sessions fully booked in advance, demonstrating strong interest and enthusiasm.
The 2025 Korea Job Fair marks a significant milestone as it will be hosted jointly by relevant government ministries for the first time this year. Amidst challenging labor market conditions, this public-private initiative creates a meaningful platform where top-performing companies from various industries and young job seekers can engage with each other directly. The fair underscores a collaborative effort to foster employment opportunities and address the pressing realities of today’s job market.
Acting President and Deputy Prime Minister Sang-mok Choi, who also serves as Minister of Economy and Finance, together with Young-se Kwon, Emergency Committee Chair of the People Power Party, Minister of Employment and Labor Moon-soo Kim, Minister of Science and ICT Sang-eem Yoo, Minister of SMEs and Startups Young-joo Oh, Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho-seong Yong, Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation Kyung-shik Sohn, as well as vice presidents from the Federation of Korean Industries, Korea Federation of SMEs, and Korea Middle Market Enterprises Association, attended the opening ceremony of the “2025 Korea Job Fair” and toured the venue to offer words of encouragement to young job seekers and company representatives.
In his opening remarks, Acting Minister Choi emphasized, “The Korea Job Fair is more than a venue for job matching—it is a meaningful occasion where young talents and companies come together to shape a sustainable future for the Republic of Korea.” He further highlighted that “providing ample opportunities for our youth, the future generation, is not only a core social responsibility of businesses but also the most valuable investment in their own growth.” He encouraged participating companies to “share their visions and actively recruit talents who will grow together with them.”
Acting President Choi emphasized, "This fair goes beyond job matching—it is a meaningful step toward building a sustainable future by fostering growth between youth and businesses. We call on companies to recognize this as an investment and actively recruit talented young individuals."
Acting Minister Choi added “The government will significantly enhance employment services—such as launching the Youth Employment All-Care Platform—to help young people enter the labor market more easily,” and “actively support companies in creating quality jobs through initiatives like the full-scale operation of the Employment Troubles Hotline.”
Meanwhile, this year’s job fair features five employment-support programs for young job seekers: Corporate Recruitment Hall, CareerOn Square, NaeilOn Station, YouthOn Lounge, and New Tech Zone.
In the Corporate Recruitment Hall, 115 outstanding companies across eight sectors—including SMEs, world-class mid-sized companies, content industry firms, foreign-invested enterprises, overseas employment agencies, ICT companies, bio-health firms, and youth-friendly or top-job employers—are planning to hire about 800 individuals. On-site interviews and 2025 hiring plans will be shared directly by HR managers. All job seekers are welcome to visit booths for consultation.
At CareerOn Square, major companies such as Hyundai Motor Company, SK hynix, CJ CheilJedang, ASML Korea, and Kakao Games will provide detailed information on their 2025 recruitment plans and desired talent profiles. Pre-registered job seekers will be given priority entry, but on-site registration is also available.
NaeilOn Station will provide one-on-one résumé consulting by job center advisors, personal “color[meaning differentiating qualities]” consulting, free résumé photo shoots, and job care experiences via Employment24. Both pre-registered and on-site applicants can participate.
YouthOn Lounge will host interactive missions that make employment policies engaging and accessible, while New Tech Zone will offer hands-on experiences with AR, HMD-based metaverse content, and other advanced training technologies.
The job fair will be held at the aT Center in Seoul until March 20. In parallel, an online version of the job fair—featuring around 300 participating companies—will continue via the Employment24 integrated platform through March 28 to ensure nationwide accessibility.
