An averaged 1.4% of wage increase, as a result of wage bargaining, in the first half of this year, showing the lowest increase ever since the Asian financial crisis

According to the government’ survey on 2,451 companies, which successfully strike pay bargaining, out of 6,781 domestic companies with more than 100 workers, a wage increase rate was 1.4% on average as of June 2009. This is the lowest increase since the Asian financial crisis in 1998~1999.
