On the afternoon of January 29th (Mon.) Employment and Labor Minister Kim Young-joo attended the opening ceremony of the 'job stability funds outreach center' held near Nowon Station in Seoul. She provided information on job stability funds and received applications in person in the promotional bus.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) and the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (COMWEL) will operate a total of six promotional buses as 'job stability funds outreach centers' in six regions, especially metropolitan cities and provinces, for one month, starting with Seoul today.

"We will reach out to every corner of the country, including markets, commercial districts and industrial complexes, to ensure that each and every small business owner in desperate need of job stability funds can receive them promptly and conveniently," said Employment and Labor Minister Kim Young-joo. "We will do our best to ensure a soft landing of the minimum wage hike by answering micro-entrepreneurs' questions about job stability funds on the spot and preventing business owners in need of job stability funds from failing to apply for them because they are too busy."
